PLANESPOTTERS should note that the world's largest commerical airlinre, the 525-seat Airbus A380, makes its first flying visit to Scotland on September 5, when it can be seen from Prestwick Airport at 2pm.

Airbus vice president Tom Williams, said of the flyover: "The aircraft's first visit to Scotland will be a memorable day for everyone and demonstrates that designing and building great planes is what Airbus is all about."
